Kids Day at the Normandy Park Organic Farmers Market is a special event where children become vendors for the day. Young participants have the opportunity to bring their own creations — from lemonade and baked goods to artwork, crafts, photography, and more — and experience what it’s like to run their own small business.

Through this hands-on experience, kids will learn how to market their products, interact with customers, and understand the basics of running a booth. They will complete a simple vendor application, pay a $5.00 kids vendor fee, and learn how to set up and present their space in a fun and engaging way. Most importantly, they will experience the excitement and confidence that comes from earning their own money.

Volunteers play a key role in making this day successful by helping with outreach to local schools, gyms, churches and community groups, putting up posters, and working directly with young vendors to guide them through booth setup and customer interaction.
